Please stop and support your local American Legion Post 0189

A Quilt of Valor was awarded to Roger (left) and Conrad Bohlman.  Roger served in the Army in Viet Nam in the 10th Combat Aviation Battalion.  Conrad served in USMC in Viet Nam.  Connie was in the 1st Battalion, 9th Marines and received two purple hearts.   Awarding the quilts is Mary Rollert, cousin to Roger and Conrad.  Mary is a member of the Quilters on the Rock and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Nov 4, 2025 Watertown celebrates the groundbreaking of the permanent Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall installation at Aero Park. This memorial is one of only three mobile Vietnam Memorial Walls in the country and found a permanent home right here in Watertown, WI. A lasting tribute to those who served and sacrificed for our nation, this monument will offer a place of reflection, remembrance, and honor for all who wish to visit, learn and pay their respects.
