Watertown Pitterle-Beaudoin American Legion Post 189 proudly celebrated its 106th anniversary on March 7th, 2026, at the Moose Lodge.
The event honored outstanding community members with distinguished awards:

Joshua Archibald was named Fire Person of the Year

Jacob Reitz received Police Person of the Year

Post Chaplain Ward Genz was recognized as Legionnaire of the Year

Chad Butzine earned the State Department Firefighter of the Year 2025-26.
Additionally, ten dedicated individuals were celebrated for their 50 or more years of membership.
Mayor Robert Stocks attended the ceremony and issued a public proclamation declaring March 7th, 2026, as American Legion Day, highlighting the Post's century-long commitment to service and community.
This milestone celebration not only reflects on a rich history of service but also reinforces the Post's ongoing dedication to honoring veterans and strengthening community bonds.
